Katie Redmon--an emerging novelist, one-time public interest attorney, former bilingual teaching assistant, and queer parent of two--is thrilled to announce the upcoming publication of her debut novel, SONGS WE SING, with She Writes Press (distributed by Simon & Schuster) on June 15, 2027.

Katie's first-ever published piece, Enough For Both of Us, (published under the pen name Christina Roscoe) was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Her writing has also appeared in Black Fox Literary Magazine and So to Speak Journal.

Katie attended the esteemed 2023 Bread Loaf Writers' Conference; she was lucky enough to work with the incomparable Jennifer Finney Boylan ("Mad Honey"), among many other greats.

Katie hopes other new writers will stumble on this page and take heart. May we all make the art we love, whenever the opportunity presents itself.
